After a very short but intense romance, I needed to process my feelings and purge the stress. I grabbed a reclaimed canvas from a corner of my studio, flung it into position at my easel, and took to throwing and scraping paint vigorously across it. Pouring my frustration out and healing my pain with each stroke. Afterward, I felt much better and titled the piece after the man who’d inspired it. His dream was to be a filmmaker, and the title fits appropriately.
